I like to think of myself as a dreamer. An ideas man. Sometimes these grand visions fail to come to fruition and remain just thoughts. I ran my first 5k when I was 8... I won. When my Mother tells the story she usually fails to mention that I was 1 of 2 entry's in my age division, or that she left me to run the second half by myself. 8 years old running down the road with a group of strangers. I am ok and currently have no long term trauma from the event that I am aware of. I made a decision to take a few days of from my running and let my legs heal. My left shin has been giving me a little trouble when I am running down hill, so I figured a few days off from running would do me some good.
Like an addict, when you don't feed your addiction you get withdrawals. All you think about is when you will get your next fix. So as I am sitting here on the couch, I am getting the antsy feeling and all I can think about is:

I will admit I was a little hesitant about "it". I've thought about "it" a few times.
