Does anyone know what is happening at the Barr Trail parking lot this week? They are closing it off to all vehicles for a week starting tomorrow (Monday).

Good job Randi!! Three or four good trips up and you'll take a bunch of time off. Go for it!

Back in my fit days I was just under 30 minutes. Now it's taking me nearly double that.

Hey Debbie, nice work!

Hey Deb, that's a great time. Many people wouldn't even consider carrying that much extra weight up the incline. Great job!

1 hr 10 min carrying 30+ lbs on back & in heavy mountaineering boots from Barr Trail parking to top, 50 min back down with same load. That extra weight really makes a difference for us "not-so-runner" hiker types, and its good strength training for the legs while still working the cardio too. (and gets lots of fun looks and comments too)

That's a good time from the bottom, Katie!
