Unicyclist rides to the top of Pikes Peak
Mike Tierney of Aspen rides his unicycle "thousands of miles a year." On Sunday, he added 28 tough miles, pedaling from Manitou Springs to the summit of 14,115-foot Pikes Peak. Tierney was one of 336 people who rode to the cold and windy top of 'America's Mountain" in the inaugural Assault on the Peak bike ride.
