Stevie Kremer talks about her winning run in the Pikes Peak Marathon
Stevie Kremer attended Colorado College, and hiked to the top of Pikes Peak once. On Sunday, the Crested Butte grade-school teacher threw down one of the fastest women's race times in the history of the Pikes Peak Marathon, winning in 4:17:10. Salynda Fluery, 28, of Conifer, the 2007 champion, placed second in 4:46:32. Laia Trias of Spain was third in 4:49:54.
