Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
Runners enjoyed an extremely fast course in the Rocky Mountain State Games 5K at Memorial Park on Sunday, July 29, in Colorado Springs. Carl Arnold won the men's race in the course-record time of 15 minutes, 50 seconds. Pine Creek High School senior Heather Bates streaked to a new course record of 17:34 to capture the women's race title.
