Start of the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile Run
Caught the first 100 or so runners as they cruised past Balanced Rock, about 1 1/4 miles into the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile Run. Belainesh Gebre, 25, of Flagstaff, Ariz., set a new women's course record of 58:45, breaking her old mark by four seconds. Leonard Korir, 26, of Colorado Springs, won the men's race in 50:48, setting a new age-group course record.
