Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
A good look at the mid-pack runners in the Canya Cañon Run 6K for the Cub Trail Race Sunday, Nov. 6, in Colorado Springs. Pete Maksimowwon with a course-record time of 29:47. Gerald Romero, the 2009 and 2010 winner, was second in 33:54, followed by Brad Poppele in 33:54.
In the women's race, 12-year-old Kayli Tabares pulled ahead of Amanda Ewing in the race's final strides to win in 40 minutes, 40 seconds. Jaclyn Roberson was third in 41:21.
