Start of Fall Series IV, Nov. 13 at Palmer Park

A good look at the start of the Fall Series IV race Sunday in Palmer Park in Colorado Springs. Colorado Running Company/Inov-8 runner Alex Nichols, 26, of Colorado Springs, series title, covering the technical 7.5-mile trail run in 47 minutes, 48 seconds. Regina Hammond, 37, of Colorado Springs, placed second in the women's race to capture the series title. The Colorado Running Company's Amanda Ewing won two of the four races, including Sunday's (1:02:17), but missed the first race and was not included in the final series standings.
