JoAnna Masloski of Highlands Ranch won the Pikes Peak Marathon on Sunday, leading from start to finish. She clocked a 5:09.38. It was her first attempt at the Pikes Peak Marathon, an out-and-back race from Manitou Springs to the summit of 14,115-foot Pikes Peak. A six-time All-America distance runner at Notre Dame, Masloski had never been higher than timberline on Pikes Peak prior to Sunday's Marathon.
