Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
Start of a great race in beautiful Woodland Park. Corey Ferrell, 27, of Colorado Springs took the 5K win in 18 minutes, 18 seconds. Kelli Erickson, 48, of Campbell, Neb., won the women's 5K in 23:14. In the 10K, Jeffrey Cook, 21, of Colorado Springs, won in 38 minutes flat, while Cheyenne Becker, 17 of Pratt, Kan. own the women's race in 46:06.
