Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
Emelie Forsberg said she trailed her Salomon teammates by 10 minutes at the summit of Pikes Peak. But she took advantage of her descending skills and and caught and passed Mireia Miro and Kasie Enman with a mile to go to win the Pikes Peak Marathon in 4 hours, 26 minutes and 7 seconds.
