Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
It was good to see WMBA rider Kennon Roeber racing again after a long layoff. Roeber won the Cat 2 Marathon National Championship in Breckenridge in 2010. But four herniated discs in her back forced her to take most of 2011 off. She raced at the Ascent Cycling Series No. 2 race at Palmer Park on June 13 (2012). It was her first competition in Colorado Springs in more than a year.
