About

Tim Bergsten created this Ning Network.

I posted the first of what I hope will be many videos last night. It's funny, I thought it was 6:30; it was more like 8:30. I'm happy with my pace but am feeling it a bit today.

I have Coach Chris Bittinger helping me work on a plan.

My goal is to knock out the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile in less than 9:00/mile so that I can get into the first wave of the Ascent.

How do I get there?

I ran last week through the Garden and was going about 8:45/mile. That was only 4 miles and it felt really fast. I was WORKED at the end. Those hills make a difference. The Santa Fe Trail is like running on one of those airport walkways compared to the up's and down's in the Garden. Not being in great shape probably doesn't help either.

Today's weather is more like curl up with a good book than lace up the running shoes. Gonn'a need some motivation to get out there today.

Get 'em Aaron!  Join us in the morning...we are meeting at 4:45am (eek) at the parking lot of ridge road and juniper loop.  I only have an hour before I have to jet off to work...tomorrow is especially early.  You can absolutely break 1:30. Believe it!
