Ran the Summer Roundup Trail Run route today (5/15). This is the best part, coming down High Drive after going up for the first 3.8 miles before turning around. I don't want to tell you what my time was because I don't want my competitors to have an unfair advantage. I wouldn't want them to know that they can stop and have a leisurely lunch at the turnaround and still beat me to the finish.

Did I say I liked the fact that this race, second leg of the Triple Crown of Running, comes in the middle of these three races because it is the shortest one? Well then let me state, for the record, this being just the second time I've done this course, I think it could be tougher than the Garden of the Gods run by virtue of the fact the first half of this run is mostly uphill, starting out of Bear Creek Park, then up High Drive and back down.

Still a pretty run with some nice views. Some shade and a breeze helped on this warm day.
