Summer Roundup Trail Run finish line

Peter Maksimow, 32, of Manitou Springs set a new course record Sunday in the Summer Roundup Trail Run, covering the 12k course in 44 minutes, 54 seconds. Maksimow took 26 seconds out of the old record (45:20) set by Aaron Rubacalba-Lopez in 2007.
Justin Ricks, 31, of Pueblo West, placed second in 45:16, followed by Tommy Manning, 35, of Colorado Springs in 45:48, a new 35-39 age-group record.
In the women's race, Lisa Goldsmith, 46, of Nederland, won in 54:55, a new masters and age-group (45-49) record.
Carrie Zografos, 31, of Lakewood, placed second in 55:13, a new 30-34 age-group record.
Melissa Eichers, 35, of Colorado Springs, was third in 59:46.
