High Drive Challenge 10-miler

Stephen VanGampleare has recovered from his 37th-place run at the Boston Marathon. The 26-year-old runner from Colorado Springs won the High Drive Challenge on Sunday, climbing 2,000 feet from Bear Creek Park to the summit of High Drive, and then running back, in 1 hour, 5 minutes and 50 seconds. K.k. Paul clocked 1:20:37 to win the women's race.
Rochelle Persson captured the overall title in the 4-mile race, charging up and down the Bear Creek Park foothills trails in 32:00. Connor Drendel won the men's race in 33:50.
