24 Hours of Colorado Springs, Gallery 1

Colorado Springs rider Cameron Chambers had built an early lead in the 24 Hours of Colorado Springs on Saturday at Palmer Park. Chambers is chasing the 24 Hour Mountain Bike National title. He'll have to beat mountain biking legend Tinker Juarez to do it. Juarez was riding in second place after about 20 miles. The duo covered the first lap 13 miles in an extremely fast 56 minutes. Race organizers had figured that the top riders would average about 1 hour, 10 minutes per lap.
There are about 160 riders competing solo or on a team. The race ends at noon on Sunday.
