Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
About 1,800 runners charged through the streets of Manitou Springs on Saturday as they began their climb in the Pikes Peak Ascent. Maria Macias of Alamosa was the first to the top. He clocked 2:08:57.
