Fat Ass Series: Start of the Ponderous Posterior 50K

Ultra runners from the Front Range cities of Colorado hit the foothills trails above Colorado Springs on Saturday in the Ponderous Posterior 50K, the final stop in the Fat Ass Series.
The event is a loosely organized reason for runners to get together and have fun, though bragging rights are always on the line.

The course began and ended at local runner J.T. Teisher's house on 31st Street. From there, runners hit the trails in Red Rock Canyon, then made there way to the Cheyenne Cañon area and back.
