The streets and trails of downtown Colorado Springs are not exactly the "Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field" but on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 11) more than 1,200 runners will race for paydirt there in the 9th Super Half Marathon and Game Day 5K.

Put in your miles, then party down guilt free (which means eat all the bean dip and drink all the beer you want) during the big game!

This event is a fundraiser for the Pikes Peak Road Runners and PikesPeakSports.us, organizations that work to promote running, racing and healthful living in Colorado Springs. Throw on your favorite team jersey and join us at one of the most fun running events in Colorado!

All participants will have the option to order our long-sleeved tech shirt during the registration process.

Race medal/bottle opener for all runners (will come in handy during the Super Bowl.)

In addition, half marathon runners will also receive our one-of-kind pint glass, to go with the medal/bottle opener.

Schedule

Early packet pick-up and registration:  2-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, Plaza of the Rockies, 121 S. Tejon

Race-day packet pick-up/registration: 8:30 a.m., Feb. 11, Plaza of the Rockies.

Super Half Marathon start: 10 a.m.

Game Day 5K start: 10:15 a.m.

The Super Bowl will begin at about 4:30 p.m., so you'll have plenty of time to run and ccelebrate with us at Jack Quinn's after your race!

The Game Plan

• On-street parking free until 1 p.m., or pay $1 an hour and park at three city garages, 130 S. Nevada, 215 N. Cascade, 127 E. Kiowa.
• The course follows the Jack Quinn's Running Club route to the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail.
• Runners complete an out-and-back course finishing at America the Beautiful Park.
•

• Join us at Jack Quinn's (21 S. Tejon) for age-group awards, plus live music, food and drink specials after your race!
