First Bike In Movie Night set for Oct. 7 at Front Range BBQ!!

This is the kind of event that makes Colorado Springs cool. The folks at Front Range BBQ, New Belgium Brewing and the Colorado Springs Bicycling Club are inviting everyone to hop on their trusty two-wheeled steeds and pedal down to Bike In Movie Nights!

The first movie night is schedueld for Thursday, Oct. 7, at Front Range BBQ, 2330 W. Colorado Ave.

The schedule works like this.

Meet at 5:30 at Front Range for an easy group ride, then crank it back at about 6:30 for a cold one and a bite to eat. The movie - it's free - starts at 7 p.m.

First up is "The Bicyclists" a story about a boy, a girl and their bikes. It's a romantic sort of thing.

The Colorado Springs Cycling Club will provide a bike valet, so your ride will be safe.

Congrats and a big thanks to those who organized this event. This is an event that feels as if it will work. Swing on by and help start a cool new tradition in Colorado Springs

Big thanks to Front Range Bar-B-Que for hosting this event. We've been talking about starting this for a while now, Fall is as good a time as any!

The ride will be a very casual cruise through Old Colorado City and is going to be at a pace anyone can handle. It's about the social aspect of enjoying the time out in and with community :-)

A shout out to Travis Flett of New Beligium Brewery, our local Beer Ranger for supporting the event as well, we'll be looking to make a long-term thing out of this Bike-In Movie Night. Future events will have a vote for the movie option and other fun things to look forward to.
