Audrey MacDonald, an 89-year-old grandmother from Calhan, Colo., knocked out her 300th run with the Jack Quinn's Running Club on Tuesday to the cheers of family and friends. MacDonald began running in 2012 and has since set the age-group records for 86, 87 and 88-year-old women in the Boulder Bolder 10K. When asked about her best memories at Jack Quinn's, she said, "good German Bach beer."
And how many has she consumed? "A couple of thousand," she said.
Now that's worth cheering for.
