Stephen VanGampleare started the new year with a win at the Rescue Run 5K on Sunday in Palmer Park. VanGampleare, 26, finished in 17:03, just ahead of Joshua Simkins (24) and Brent Bailey.
Kaylen Adragna clocked 21:21 to win the women's race. Rochelle Persson was second, with Donna Garcia in third.
