Start of the Fall Series II race on Saturday, Oct. 18, in Monument Valley Park. The runners tackled a 3.5 mile course that included some of the most popular trails in Colorado Springs, plus a soggy romp through the creek and some angry bees.
Robby Young captured the win with a time of 22 minutes, 18 seconds. Pete Maksimow was second, with Alex Nichols running third.
In the women's race, Kierann Toth took the win with a 26:52, followed by Kaylen Aragna and Crystal Goecker.
