ROLL 2011 wil feature artist Nard Claar

"Lucky #7" will feature current Claar watercolor

  ROLL is lucky to have the World's Best Bike Art nestled right
here at the foot of Pike's Peak.  Year after year, a variety of
bicycle artwork adds up for a fitting climax to the cycling season.
But, all of the works that wow the cycling community are created
as Springtime in the Rockies is sprung.
  Take for example, one of ROLL's best-selling artists Nard Claar.
Claar's watercolors convey the immediacy, intensity and intimacy
of cycling, be it roadie rewards or mountain mania.  Claar's works
appeal to the entire family, and the returning artist has his own set
of groupies who attend ROLL just to see his current work.
  The deadline for entries for "Lucky #7" is set for July 1, 2011.
The July deadline allows 3 months' time for new artists and seasoned
veterans alike to create all of their original artwork for "Lucky #7."
Keep an eye out for previews of ROLL 2011 artists in upcoming
editions of the Peak Region Cyclist and on facebook!  ROLL will
feature artists as they take the inspirations of early season cycling
and turn it into their vision of the cycling community.
  Opportunities are available for new and returning ROLL volunteers
in planning, promotion, party provisions, photography, public
relations and... "Postmodern Pollution Patrol."  ROLL offers
