Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a local (Colo Springs) sports medicine doctor / orthopedist, specially someone who would be understand cyclist and knee issues?

Thanks.

Jeff Matthews at Champion Health kept me upright and moving forward - no easy task - while I was training for the Pikes Peak Ascent a couple years ago. Everybody who has gone to these guys has good things to say about them.
You might call Synergy MPT, although they are physical therapists and not docs they probably have a line on a few good ones. 634-1110. Good luck!

Dr. Sean O'Donnell is a sports medicine specialist and a heckuva nice guy. He's more of a runner and hiker than a cyclist, I think, but he knows his way around sports injuries.

I am the race organizer for over 100 races here in the Pikes Peak Region.  I'll put you in touch with the only person in town who would exactly know what to do.  He (the company he works with) has been on site at all of my races and does this daily.
