Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
Rochelle Persson didn't win every race, but she was plenty fast and consistent enough to capture the overall Fall Series title for the second consecutive year. Persson, 42, of Colorado Springs, placed second on Sunday in the final race of the series at Palmer Park. She finished the 6.5-mile singletrack course in 54 minutes, 17 seconds. Connilee Walter of Colorado Springs won with a time of 53:38.
