It's a good class 3 during normal runoff and when the water gets big, it's a sturdy class 4 in spots!  One highlight of my life was busting through the bottom hole of Spikebuck at 3,780 cfs and not getting caught.

Dan, Excellent video.

For Information:

This is the most popular run for the Pikes Peak Whitewater Club.

The put-in (Parkdale ) is located about ten miles west of Canyon City on US 50.

The run can be ten miles or less, if you wish. It's roadside and has many entrences and exits.

It's normally rated class III.
