Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
Justin Chaston, 43, of Colorado Springs, had not raced in about 18 months, but he looked strong charging up the hills in the Thunderstorm 5K on Saturday at Discovery Canyon Campus. Chaston took the win in 17:07. Peter Fleming, 51, Colorado Springs, was second in 17:57, while Wes Thurman, 40, Colorado Springs, cruised home in 19 minutes, 39 seconds for third place.
