Dey Dey talks about his blazing 3:53 in the inaugural Bristol Mile

One of the Sudanese "Lost Boys" who escaped from his homeland during a violent civil war, Dey Dey found his way to the United States. In 2008, as a senior at Thornton High School in Colorado, he won a state championship in the 800. On Saturday, Dey Dey won the inaugural Bristol Mile in Colorado Springs, covering the straight and slightly downhill road course in 3:53.
