Running, Cycling, Hiking and Climbing in the Pikes Peak Region
Colorado Springs runner Brad Poppele said that the cold and wet weather made him want to stay in bed on Saturday. But that didn't happen. Poppele got up and won the XTERRA Marathon at Cheyenne Mountain State Park on Saturday. It was his first marathon win. Poppele covered the muddy, technical course in 3:45:05.
