A lot of people ask the question. We already have road bikes, mountain bikes, tricycles, recumbent bikes, cruisers, and on and on. Why in the world do we need another type of “bike”? A ride to remember cyclists who have been injured or killed on public roadways

On Wednesday, May 19, cyclists from across Colorado Springs will gather at Old Town Bike Shop, 426 S. Tejon, to ride in honor of those who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.

The Ride of Silence begins at 6:30 p.m. The local ride will be part of a world-wide effort to raise awareness about bicycling safety and the rights of cyclists to use our roads.…
