Do you ride a bike? Would you like to ride for a  great cause?

Summertime and the racing's easy

Among the many other reasons, Colorado Mountain Bike racing is great because it happens in the summer. I know this may seem like a Duh, but there are many parts of our fair country that do not race bikes in the summer. Seeing the Unsung: Our "Other" Trail Users

 

Last week I had the pleasure of attending TEDxMileHigh up in Denver. TEDx events are the regional off shoot of Ted.com, who's tagline is "Ideas Worth Spreading". I've been hooked on watching TED for about 2 years now, so it was sort of a dream come true to be in row 4 of such an event. Bonus: the networking group I started, Denver Young Professionals, was a partner of the event and one of our members....it's founder.

A ride to remember cyclists who have been injured or killed on public roadways

On Wednesday, May 19, cyclists from across Colorado Springs will gather at Old Town Bike Shop, 426 S. Tejon, to ride in honor of those who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.

The Ride of Silence begins at 6:30 p.m. The local ride will be part of a world-wide effort to raise awareness about bicycling safety and the rights of cyclists to use our roads.…
