Beware Garmin users! This new series (they have discontinued the Forerunner 05 Series) DOES NOT include an Altimeter!! I would ask "What's the point??" I picked up a new 110, and when I went to…Continue

Woo Hoo! Incline today

Great day on The Incline; FLEW down Barr Trail! Those Microspikes are fabulous! (though only needed on the descent, they build stability and confidence) What I love about them is that they fit into…Continue

ProCyling Challenge

What a great dat for Colorado springs and Cycling! Wondered where you had posted yourself Tim. Tough decision, but I opted for mile 4, shade and a chair. Oh, and a Nikon motor drive. Got some Great Shots of Schleck, Zabriskie, Levi and Evans. Will forward them onto the site once I get them uploaded, and filed. Even panning with motor drive at 400th\sec, they were still challenging to catch!

Deep Snow run set up - MicroSpikes - 1st try

My first ascent up the Incline, with the Spikes was interesting! It took me a little while to become accustomed to them; specifically, how to plant my foot, on each step. With the snow beginning to melt, a lot of "ties' were exposed. With the substantial spikes on this great winter tool, a couple times I found a spike 'catching' on the wood. So, I then needed to watch carefully where, and how, I planted my foot. A fellow passed me (running) with them on his feet. I said "how much do you love…
