"In my experience most all shoes are made "last" shaped, not foot shaped. I run in Luna sandals and have never had a black toe. You may want to consider looking into minimalist footwear/running barefoot."

Brain bludgeoned Barefoot running Pikes Peak with Vertigo...

Hello all, I've just joined Pikes Peak Sports and looking forward mostly to learning new running routes in the Ute Pass and west side areas. I live in Green Mountain Falls and run the trails around here as oft as I'm able. I have brain injury, including constant neurological vertigo, but am able to run after 6 years of relearning -- aided greatly by going barefoot/minimalist.
