Ian Burrell captured the win in the men's race with a blistering time of 29 minutes, 47 seconds, just 17 ticks off the course record. Geofrey Terer (38, Colorado Springs), fresh off last week's win in the Summer Roundup Trail Run, was second in 30:20, followed by Alex Monroe (23, Lyons), 30:29. Brianne Nelson (34, Golden) captured the women's race in 33:25, with Jess Petersson (37, Colorado Springs, 34:23) and Wendy Thomas (36, Greeley, 35:55) rounding out the top three.
