DESCRIPTION: This city park is a wooded mesa with picturesque sandstone spires and great single-track riding and trailrunning. There are miles of trails both primitive and maintained. The bluffs and valleys have been left in their natural state. The park has ball fields and day use facilities. Many trails allow horses, mountain bikes, and hikers. The trails are organized into three categories: beginner (green), intermediate (blue), and advanced (black).
DIRECTIONS: There are three access points to the park. There is a large parking lot at the corner of Maiseland and Academy and a smaller parking lot off of Union on Paseo Rd. There is also trail access from Austin Bluffs Parkway and Brenner Place.
