The Pikes Peak Whitewater Club is a kayak oriented whitewater club based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Founded in 1975, the intent of the club is to foster an enthusiastic group of paddlers, provide a place to meet other people who enjoy whitewater kayaking, and explore Colorado's exciting whitewater rivers and beyond.

Comment by Dan Dyer on January 25, 2011 at 8:36pm: I was in BV today and looked at Pine Creek Rapid and The Numbers. I think the flows are under 250 and I can actually see myself running Pine Creek at this level for a first, but not with the ice...especially above Moon Pie. The Numbers would be runnable, but not too excited with the amount of ice and temps. Ready for warmer weather...PATIENCE!
