Friend in from England, wants to climb, anybody need a partner? 1 Reply

She has her harness, chalk bag, shoes, and belay device...now all she needs is a partner.  She'll be her until the 19th of August.  Can somebody point her in the direction of a good partner or group?

Hello all.  I am joining this group for my wife.  I want to give a very unique birthday present, she has done some rock climbing in the long ago past (15+ yrs), and I would like to surprise her with maybe some repelling and rock climbing.  I have looked at either going to City Rock or Sport Climbing Center to get her started, but I believe that she would rather try some easy stuff outside.

So what I am really doing is asking if there is anyone in the group that can help me surprise her with this, or at least give me some advice.  She does not have any equipment, no harnesses, ropes, shoes, nothing.

Thanks Tim. The Grand Teton was something I wanted to do for the last 12 years or so and finally snagged it. Now I want to go back, it was awesome.

Thanks for sharing these photos Dave. All these years, and these are the first from the top of Grand Teton that I have seen. And I lived in Jackson, Wyo. for about a year.

Hey fellow rock hounds! There are now 9 of us! Woo Hoo!! I grew up climbing in the Garden and then spread out across the state and West. Took a 9 yr stay on the beach of Virginia Beach, VA...little climbing :( Now I am HOME again and so happy to be climbing in the CO mecca!! Now if my endurance would just catch up with my skill and technique!
