Sorry for the mass email, but I wanted to cast the following message out into the endurance athlete community in Colorado Springs. In light of the high temperatures, park closures, and questionable air quality from the Waldo Canyon Fire, Carmichael Training Systems will be opening our facility to the cycling and triathlon community for FREE workouts this week.
Come in and use our Computrainers in the morning or evening. We will be running one-hour Computrainer workouts on the hour at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. We have more than 20 Computrainers, and you are welcome to bring your own stationary trainer in case we run out of space on the Computrainers or you miss one of the start times.
If you’re using your own trainer, we ask that you still come in during a similar timeframe (8-10 a.m. or 4-7 p.m.) today through Friday.
The A/C is on and the air is clean, so please come on in utilize our facility if you’re struggling with the air quality or the heat.
Please pass this message on to anyone in our community who you think might be interested. If you have questions, please call 719-635-0645 x1.
