Crested Butte's Ethan Passant (Alpine Orthopaedics) finished the 2010 Colorado Trail Race on Friday Aug 6 in a time of 4 Days, 13 Hours, and 43 Minutes, marking his second victory at the self supported, 493-mile mountain bike race.

As of posting time, only three riders of the 39 starters have crossed the finish line at the Junction Creek trail head near Durango, Colo. Jesse Jakomait finished second, just 1 Hour, and 12 minutes behind Passant while Jeffe Branham of Gunnison, Colo. finished thrid in 5 Days, 2 Hours.

Currently there are 19 racers still on course. Recent Crested Butte transplant Eszter Horanyi-who now appears to be camped out near Silverton, Colo.-is poised to finish fourth overall and possibly break the women's course record.
